We started Creekstone because we believe every student deserves to feel known.
Creekstone Online Academy grew out of years of working inside microschool environments and watching what happens when students finally land somewhere that sees them — really sees them. They relax. They engage. They start to believe they can learn.
We built Creekstone to extend that experience to families who need flexibility, who've left traditional school behind, or who are simply looking for something better than a pre-recorded video and a multiple choice quiz.
Philosophy
We believe curiosity matters more than compliance. Mastery matters more than memorization. And relationships matter more than rigid systems.
That's not just something we say — it shapes how we build our classes, how we train our teachers, and how we show up for students every single day.
Our classrooms are live, small, and intentional. Students are encouraged to ask questions, take up space, and take ownership of their learning. Teachers are experienced, engaged, and genuinely invested in the kids in front of them.
Who We Serve
Creekstone was designed for students who don't fit neatly into traditional models — and for families who've stopped pretending that's okay. Whether your child is neurodivergent, thrives in smaller settings, needs a flexible schedule, or has simply never felt at home in a conventional classroom, Creekstone was built with them in mind.
Who We Are
Creekstone was founded by three educators who each left traditional school for the same reason — their own kids deserved better. Between us, we bring more than 50 years of classroom experience, and we've spent the last several years building microschool environments where students like ours could finally thrive. We started Creekstone Online Academy to open that experience up to more families — because every child deserves a place where they feel known, supported, and excited to learn.
